WHAT IS JOB SHADOWING?
A 4-8 hour experience where an individual shadows the
worker in their job setting, observing what activities
take place in that job or career.
PURPOSE
To increase educator's understanding and knowledge of
the skills needed in a variety of job/careers. The information
gained will help develop career options for students resulting
in student retention and recruitment.
TIME OF YEAR /PLACEMENTS
- July 1, 2006-June 18, 2007
- Business/industry of choice
- 4-8 hour workshift
- Stipend: $30 for 4 hours, $60 for 8 hours
